Art, as a creative expression of human experiences and emotions is particularly suitable for presenting individual implications and perspectives of disease and suffering.

These art works, produced by professional artists, epileptic patients themselves, or interested observers, do not in primarily seek to reflect the Visible, but to make visible certain aspects of the affliction that are not discernible at first sight.
